These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the use of The AI Search Directory, operated by:

By accessing or using the Website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. We reserve the right to amend them at any time — continued use constitutes acceptance of any updates.

The AI Search Directory is an online directory for AI-powered search optimization tools (AEO/GEO). The Platform offers:
The Directory serves an informational purpose only. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume liability for any third-party tools or services listed.
User Submissions
Users may submit tools for inclusion. All submissions are subject to editorial review — we reserve the right to approve, reject, modify, or remove any submission at any time without reason.
By submitting content, you represent that:
- The information is accurate, complete, and not misleading.
- You have the right to submit it and it does not infringe any third-party rights.
- It does not contain unlawful, defamatory, or objectionable content.
By submitting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute the content in connection with operating the Directory. Submission does not guarantee inclusion.
Paid Services
Featured placements and premium listings are available as Paid Services. Pricing is described on the Website and may change — but not for already confirmed orders. All prices are in Euros (EUR) incl. VAT where applicable.
Refund Policy
If we cannot deliver a Paid Service as described, you are entitled to a full refund. Requests must be submitted to bernd@theaisearchdirectory.com within 14 days of purchase. EU consumer withdrawal rights apply per Section 5.
We reserve the right to suspend Paid Services for Terms violations without refund for the remaining period.
Right of Withdrawal (EU Consumers)
EU consumers have the right to withdraw from a Paid Services contract within 14 days without giving any reason.
To exercise this right, notify us by clear statement (e.g., email to bernd@theaisearchdirectory.com).
If you requested the service to begin during the withdrawal period and then withdraw, you shall pay a proportional amount for services already rendered. The right of withdrawal does not apply once a Paid Service has been fully performed with your prior express consent.
User Conduct
You agree not to use the Website to:
- Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
- Impersonate any person or entity.
- Upload or transmit viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
- Attempt unauthorized access to any part of the Website or its servers.
- Use bots, scrapers, or crawlers without our prior written consent.
- Interfere with or disrupt the Website or its infrastructure.
- Use the Website for any purpose that violates applicable law.
We reserve the right to suspend or permanently block users who violate these Terms.
Intellectual Property
All content created by us — text, design, graphics, logos, layout, and code — is protected by Austrian and international copyright law and remains our property.
Third-party trademarks, logos, and names in the Directory belong to their respective owners. Their inclusion does not imply any endorsement or sponsorship.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any content from the Website without our prior written consent.
Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
The Directory is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any information or services listed.
Limitation of Liability
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
- Our total liability for direct damages from Paid Services is limited to the amount paid.
- We are not liable for third-party tools, websites, or services linked or listed in the Directory.
Nothing excludes liability for damages caused by willful misconduct (Vorsatz) or gross negligence (grobe Fahrlässigkeit) under applicable Austrian law.
Third-Party Links and Services
The Directory contains links to third-party websites for informational purposes only. We have no control over and assume no responsibility for their content, privacy policies, or practices. Your use of any listed third-party tool is at your own risk.
Availability and Modifications
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Website or any part of it at any time without prior notice. We shall not be liable for any such modification, suspension, or discontinuation.
Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read and understood it.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Austria, excluding CISG and conflict-of-law rules. The exclusive place of jurisdiction is the competent court in Graz, Austria.
EU consumers retain the benefit of any mandatory provisions of their country of residence. Nothing in these Terms affects statutory consumer rights under applicable EU law.
Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. The invalid provision shall be replaced by one that most closely reflects its economic purpose.
